Do not buy any property/ projects from Hatten. They are very deceitful. Until today, they still refused to pay the rental guarantee that they owe us since 2018. The staff lie all the times, promised that they will pay, but never paid.
They increase the service fee every year when the mall is empty and completely closed. We can't imagine that they increased 30% fee for an empty mall.
Be very careful. Do not get involve with Hatten and their other companies. Be aware that they will use different names for different projects. We heard that a lot of customers are suing Hatten. Our group will be following soon.

I parked at level 3 ladies parking because im alone. I came to this hotel for one week for business trip.

Level 4 parking is very quiet and a bit dark. For my SAFETY reason i need to park at the ladies parking on level 3.

But the security rudely accused me of lying and telling me that I came with 3 other people which is NOT!

I want to park there because Im all alone, furthermore there are lots of vacant ladies parking.

Makesure provide ladies parking for ladies who check in alone because this hotel connected to the mall and sometimes on weekday level 4 very quiet and scary.

Hatten is absolutely a rotten and downright unscrupulous developer. Bought a unit thinking that all will be fine investing with a "high-end developer" as Hatten claimed, but was totally disappointed with the finishing that one would normally find only in low cost housing. On top of that, there were so many defects that needs to be rectified and even after moving in, things start to turned bad...from leaking toilets to tiles popping due to poor workmanship and sudden shattering of balcony sliding glass doors.

In Melaka, Hatten is also having problem finding sub-contractors that wants to work for them, as they are simply bad poor paymasters and are always taking advantages of these sub-contractors. Hatten's reputation indeed sucks big time in the mind of local Melakans!

Be very very aware of this highly dubious and deceitful developer Hatten Group. Their so-called luxurious residential development Silverscape @Hatten City is such a scam that owners are preparing to sue Hatten Group for misleading them during the marketing campaign, especially in not delivering what were promised and using inferior materials plus not rectifying the atrocious flaws and faults to both residential units and common areas. Hatten Group can nver and should never be trusted!

I am a HATTEN’S Silverscape homeowner and I want to let everyone know of my nerve-wrecking and frustrating experiences from the utterly unprofessional and highly irresponsible handover job from Hatten when trying to rectify the defects and incomplete structures found in my Silverscape unit (which was released to owners despite the fact that the building was not even adequately completed).

WE ONCE HAD VERY POSITIVE IMPRESSION OF HATTEN AND THEY ALSO FEATURED NICE CORPORATE PHILOSOPHIES IN THEIR CORPORATE WEBSITE, BUT IT IS ACTUALLY A WHOLE LOT OF BULLSHIT PER OUR HIGHLY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES IN DEALING WITH THEN!

Our first bad experience with Hatten is that they are so quick to charge interest for overdue payment due to our bank's late disbursement (despite our appeals that we were unaware of the bank’s late disbursement). Yet when it comes to handling over our unit, they continued to audaciously and unprofessionally delay the rectifications required for individual units despite making lots of promises to do so by their property manager. In my case, after submitting my rectification list for more than 2 months and with request for extensions from Hatten’s end, nothing was even done but worst, they did not even bother to inform us that the unit was not ready despite our reminders that we want to inspect the unit at the mutually agreed time. We took leave and incurred travel and accommodation cost on the communicated inspection date only to find THAT NOTHING WAS DONE AT ALL (and that was after more than 2 months delay)! Yet, they think nothing of their highly deceiving promises!

We also asked to see the project manager but he did not turned up for 2 appointments fixed on separate days, and kept us waiting in our hot and dusty unit (without water or electricity) well beyond the agreed time and only informed us he canniot make it after moire than an hour. You can see how highly unethical they are in dealing with their customers.

We were promised again another completion date by the end of Sep, but it turns out to be yet another empty promises because they did not even start any work till now, and the excuses they always shamelessly claimed is that they are short of sub-contractors to rectify the units (which is not homeowner’s problem in the first place).

We've consulted a lawyer in Melaka and he had advised that we have every rights to take tribunal actions against Hatten for their repeated failures in rectifying the units within the agreed/promised time and to our satisfaction. I advised other owners who are experiencing the same (and I am aware there are many who are suffering the same ordeal as we had) to also consult legal redress as we should not allowed Hatten to bully home owners like us!

For my investment for over the past few years, quite satidfy with the GRR schemes gave by Hatten. Will definitely recommend to few of my friends who want to invest.
