This review is only for the IJM Rimbayu Run 2023.

Organization: 5/5 using JomRun app, good arrangements for pickup of t-shirt and bib.

Venue: 4/5 large and spacious enough to manage 3k participants. Traffic management was good.

Parking: 3/5 parking in the open field was sufficient for all. But since this is the rainy season part of the field was muddy and caused some difficulty to senior participants and those with children.

Day of Event: 3/5 Apart from the two Zumba events there wasn’t much in terms of entertainment. The MC was ok though I think her content could be improved.

Timing: 4/5 both the 10k and 5k runs started on time. Don’t know if the instructions were not very clear since some 5k participants started off with the 10k group. Traffic guides did their job nicely. Good to see a 4-5 member band playing and egging the runners at the half-way mark. Water and Nescafe (or milo was it?) was provided enroute.

Post Run: 4/5 everyone who finished within the time, got their medals. Unlike some other runs, this one was more for fun and community. No competitive spirit and no international runners (which is fine btw). Organizers provided packed meals and there was free flow of Milo, Popcorn etc.

Notes: I wish they had some other stalls for fun and games.

I have joined many events organised by Bandar Rimbayu during festive season. Their events are very fantastic and favorable to kids. Our family really have fun on events exp: ASTRO event, Chinese New Year BIG FUN DAY, Lantern Festival, Deepavali, Hari Raya, etc.

The IJM Rimbayu Run With Me 2025 event had extremely poor management. Hosting a run on a Saturday night and blocking one lanes, leaving only one lane open for cars, led to massive traffic congestion. The result? Frustrated drivers honking non-stop. Seriously? This was a terrible decision and a clear example of bad road planning!

Love the design of the whole Bandar Rimbayu and the show gallery. Everything is green and lovely. Even the show units are great for you to visualise your home. Too bad I'm not familiar with this part of town. If not, I would definitely purchase a unit here hands down!

We visited IJM sales gallery at Rimbayu, one of the four main developers of the new township at Teluk Panglima Garang. After a quick and refreshing and relaxing drinks, we were briefed by a friendly and knowledgable sales personnel and later fetched and ushered by service crew to view few showhouses. The houses were well designed and decorated. Prices ranges between RM800 to RM1.5 mil.
